1.Call of Duty Zombies (originally on Xbox 360/PS3)

The surprise extra that first appeared in COD World at War, made it onto the iPhone in 2011 with gameplay near identical to the console version. There’s three different control systems to help your zombie-blasting, but perhaps most importantly, multiplayer action over Wi-Fi.

2.Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (originally on Master System and Mega Drive)

Sega’s spiky blue hog has made a couple of appearances on the App Store but it’s the arrival of T3’s favourite Sonic 2 that has us feeling all nostalgic inside. Retro gaming at its finest, Tails is on board to help stop Dr Eggman and with original levels in place and great on screen touch controls, this is a match made in mobile gaming heaven.

3.Another World (originally on Super Nintendo)

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the iconic 90's platformer, Lester’s return gives iPhone gamers the option of using classic D-pad virtual controls plus the ability to switch between HD and original graphics. If you were the fan of the original, you should probably get your hands on this one.

5.Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12

Adding new golfers, courses and improved graphics the title that was one of last year’s most popular iPhone and iPad game releases has got even better. PGA Tour 12 introduces new game modes with the ‘Tiger Challenge’ seeing gamers complete over 20 mini-game challenges in order to earn in-game currency required to enter the tour. The ‘Closest to the pin’ challenge also adds that all important social gaming element as well.
